around....some friends have been asking where I have been and when am I going to produce new work. WELL as you can see from my last post my life has been a BiG mess to say the least. We had a lot of loss last year and are still trying to cope with all the grief. On top of all that my HoNey has been sick and he has no insurance so we can't have any tests done so we are trying to cope with that and then we had to move. Which has its ups and downs....one up side is its twice as big so we have more room which is awesome. down side is it needs a lot of work mostly on the inside. I also had to(well chose to) give up my studio because my 17yr old nephew came to live with us so I am without a studio at this point. I am going to use my closet in the bedroom as a temp. spot. Then in the spring we are going to convert the AtTiC into my studio which is huge so I can't wait!!! I MISS NOT BEING ABLE TO CREATE!!!!! so please bare with me!!!!!

HaLLowEeN already!!!!!

It has been a very long time since I have updated my blog. This has been a very "trying" year. We lost both parents....Mom passed in February, and Dad passed in May. My fiance had to quit his job to take care of them. His own health has suffered because of the stress he went through to take care of both of them by himself without any help from family.We did it on our own. He was just in the hospital for 3 days, with chest pains. He is now applying for disability because he is unable to work. Because of this we have to move. I am not happy about this because it is in a town 90min. from here. My nephew also came to live with us which meant I had to give up my studio so he could have a bedroom. BUT there have been some joys also in our life. My daughter Kaitlyn gave us a beautiful grand-daughter in August, Annabelle Angel Korene Patsy. She had a beautiful baby shower in June. Also my step-daughter Cortney got married Sept. 24. It was a beautiful beach ceremony. So this year has been alot of ups and downs. Sooooooo......I have not had much time or ambition to paint and create like I want. I am working on a piece right now though. As soon as we move and get settled I will concentrate more on my blog and art. One good thing about moving is I will have my own studio space outside of the house. I cant wait to start decorating my new studio. So please hang in there and dont forget about me.

I know its been a VERY long time since I posted but I have been going through some physical issues that have kept me out of the studio for a long time and I was also feeling a bit discouraged. Thanks Chris and Anne for all the words of encouragement!!! They mean alot to me. I have to revamp a bunch os stuff and get back into my art. Right now we are moving Skips mother from her apt. into storage and she will be in a nursing home. It is the same one dad is at so maybe we can start to get back to our lives. Just waiting for some of this stress goes away so I can focus more on my art......we will see what happens.

Finally made it in the studio and this is what I started!! Its a candle stick about 10" high. I am going to add a wooden ball on top as a moon but am undecided on if I want to paint it or cover it with paperclay(leaning towards paperclay) there will be bats, a tree and an owl. SOOO fun!!! I am so glad my honey is a flea market junkie, look at the box of goodies he got for me!!! love him!!! OHHH the possibilitys!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy LaBor Day!!! I labored for 2 days in the studio....organizing and trashing alot of stuff. My daughter, Kaitlyn just moved out so we are turning her bedroom into a office!! But on to the goodies!!! My honey loves LOVES flea markets and goes to the one in town every weekend. This trip he found me a box of unpainted wood items, everything from wood boxes, balls, little wood bowls with lids and just alot of other stuff. I can't WAIT to get started on them I have so many IdEAs already going through my head!!! And I also am going to have a GIVEAWAY in the near future!!! Have a creative day!!!!!

is that I hear. Finally finished my Owl. He is made from papyclay. he is wearing a blue velvet cape with blue taffita over it. His orange necklace says "who who" and made from polymer clay. If you look close enough you can see his wings under the taffita. He stands about 6in. I know its been awhile since I added new pieces but family life is a bit in turmoil so not much time in the studio for me.

well he can....here is a "peek" at my paperclay owl that I have been working on for weeks. He is almost complete. I will finish him today!!! Here is a watercan I painted with a TerryE French design. Normally I do not paint chickens or rooster but I really like how this turned out!! Inside the watercan are assorted dryed flowers with little eggs. Both of these items will be going on E-Bay sometime this week!!!!

Ok so I got a start on a new MaKeOvEr for my blog, not quite how I want it yet. Have some more playing to do but I'm starting to get a headache so I am done for right now. Need to go grocery shopping(JOY) and then its into the studio for me. I started 3 new paperclay sculpts and they are dry and ready to paint. BUT I guess feeding the family comes first....OY!!!!

Hi all....I haven't posted in awhile and I try to keep my PeRSOnAL life away from my blog. I started my blog to sHoWCaSe my work and that was it. Unfortunatly my personal life has taken over my creative life. The last few months have consisted of taking care of my father-in-law 24/7 and we are also going through a rough patch with my mother-in-law and trying to get her into assissted living. Since it is basically ONLY Skip and myself that are doing all of this alone, it causes alot of stress which in turn puts my "studio" time on hold. If I am under stress I can not focus or CoNcENtRatE on my work. Which is putting me into a depressive state, because I love creating art!!! I am however going to TRY and work on my blog and learn how to do all the fancy stuff I see on everyones blogs. Mine is just kinda plain and since not a lot of people know my work I am going through my files and plan on putting my past work on the blog. Any suggestions or advice would be great!!! So PLEASE bare with me through this transition.

Some people have been asking where I have been. We have been pretty busy with Family. But I need to get back in the studio. for the lack of posts and new art but things around here have become very hectic. Many of you know that we take care of my father-in-law 24/7. He was living at his own home with mom but mom had to go to the hospital for a pacemaker 3 weeks ago which we thought went very well. 2 days after surgery we got a call from the ER that they were doing CPR on her. She went at least 4-5min without oxygen. She was in an induced coma for almost a week and just started waking up and talking somewhat but is still very touch and go. We have moved Dad to our house and he is doing very well. But for right now I, unfortunatly have no desire to be in the studio. I hope that everyone understands this. I do however have some pieces I will be posting on e-bay during the week. I have been trying to support my husband as best I can. Thank you for understanding!! Hope to be back soon!!

is in the air....then it goes away.....THEN it comes back! Yes I live in MiChIgAn(wait 5min and the weather will change). Below is a lil chicky I made from Polymer clay, added a felt hat with glitter and a Pink jewel hanging from it. He is sitting on a antique spoon with purple wire wrapped around the handle and a polymer clay purple flower that reads "chicky" Here is another antique spoon(3in X1in) with polymer clay sugar cubes and a polymer clay flower that reads "sugar"

I must say this is my favorite. Polymer clay bunny with glitter, flowers, and beads inside the bottle so when you give it a shake it is all Purty(giggle)

Finished up some projects in the studio friday!!! The lil guy below is a polymer clay snowman on parade!! I took a metal candel holder and removed the glass and stuck the snowman inside, by the look on his face I don't think he was very happy about it. There are snowballs and polymer clay lollipops on the front. This fella is happy not to be in a cage(giggle) He is all polymer clay. So is his reindeer.

I handpainted this wood plaque with a few different Terrye French designs! I added some grapvine and flowers to the top and made a "garden Angel" tag out of polymer clay.

All of these items will be available on e-bay soon or if anyone is interested they can email me.

spring is in the air......I hope!!! This winter weather is taking its toll on me. I haven't been able to go in the studio like I want. Alot of family issues right now with My honeys parents and stress!!! I do have a few easter/spring items in the works though and I am hoping to make it to the studio today!! Been pretty busy here!!! Had some more hospital visits. Mom ended up in the hospital this time with a bad infection so we had to scramble to get dad somewhere, he is 24 hr care and on hospice. We managed to get him into a hospice house for a few days until mom was released from the hospital. So NOW everything is a bit quieter here. I managed to make it in the studio Monday and finsihed sculpting a bunny out of paperclay. Hopefully I will have him done by the weekend and I can put all my new work on ebay.

Here are ThReE spring items I finished up the other day. They are all Terrye French designs!!!
The chicky in the water can is made from polymer clay. There is also some light glitter around the top of the can, it doesn't show up very good!!

This wallpocket is painted with my favorite color. The carrots inside are also made from polymer clay. You can see some of the glitter on this one. This is my favorite one!!

and last....AnOthEr wallpocket. I love these. This is just a simple one. Somthing light and cheery!

yeah YEAH yeah.....went into the studio a few days ago and finished.....well I didn't FiNish them yet, but I am on my way. I went to Jo-Ann's today to get some PaPeRClAy but NOOOO they don't carry it anymore. I did pick up some pastel ribbon and some spring-eastery florals. I went to Hobby Lobby for the paperclay. So I plan on going in the studio tommorrow to finish my 3 spring items. So look for new pics in the next few days. I also plan on sculpting some spring bunnies and chicks. Boy its good to be BaCk!!!!

Keeping head above water....

is hard to do when there's a flood. Dad was rushed back to the hospital last week with breathing problems and irregular heart beats. He is DNR so they just made him comfortable. We finally got hospice set up and he came home a few days ago. We all know it will only be a matter of time before he goes "home". He is ready to go and understands everything that is going on. I have not been in the studio for almost 2 weeks now. I just don't feel very creative at this point. So there will be some slacking on my part as far as posts and new art. Please bare with me.

well I started on my etsy shop yesturday but didn't get very far! As I started going through all my files on the PC I discovered that I had pics all over the place so I am trying to consolidate them all into one file......what a mess!! I also need to take some new pics of my stuff because some of the ones I have are not the greatest...UGH!!! But I will be working on this all week and hopefully....HoPEfUllY, I will have my shop stocked with all my goodies!! so hang in there I'm working on it!!!

Things just keep getting better!! After everything that has happened last week I thought things would start looking better...NOT!! Dad had another heart attack friday night and almost died. His heart is wearing out and it won't be much longer. They have him on an IV drip to control his heart beat. They will put him on an oral med today to see how his heart responds. Right now its just a waiting game. I have not been able to list my e-bay items. We have been up to the CCU all weekend. As soon as I am able to list I will put the link on my blog.

I finally finished my SaNTa that I started months ago! He is made out of paperclay. His face was sculpted from polymer clay. I LoVe how he turned out. My BuNny Bucket is a Terrye French design. I added my own touches to the design. On the side of the bucket I added a white bow with two polymer clay carrots.

and finally my sKeLetOn keys. I painted these last year. I love to actually see how small I can paint. All of these items will be listed on E-Bay tonight

Happy New WHAT!!!!

Boy has this year been a bUmpY ride already!! I couldn't wait to go pick my daughter up from the airport on wednesday, I was so excited!! Unfortunatly I was unable to go!!! Tuesday night I was in the hOsPital with the flu. I was sick all week. Thursday we had a snow storm with 7in of snow. My daughter had class that night. I didn't want her to drive in that mess so I was going to drive her Kia, which I nEvEr drive!! Well I lost control of it and after bouncing around on the bridge like a piNbAll we came to rest on the mediun of the bridge. Not a good place to be. We were ok and managed not to hit anyone. Her jeep was towed home. The only damage was a blown out tire and a broken tranny line. THANK GOD!!!
Sunday we did manage to celebrate ChRiStmAs and it was a good day! So now that I feel better and can actually function I plan on being in the studio. I also will be opening my EtSy sHop, so stay tuned!!

and we haven't even celebrated Christmas!!! My daughter, Kaitlyn 17, is in Florida for her Christmas break and we decided to celebrate Christmas when she comes home. So I still have to make cookies, dinner and wrap presents!!! Jan. 10 will be Christmas for us!!! I can't wait. I miss that girl like crazy!! Below is a pic of our Christmas Tree that was finally decorated last week.

Hope this year is better!! I don't make resolutions but for the new year I would like to focus more on my art!! E-bay and Etsy!!!

with my sled today and I love how it turned out. I want to keep it!!! BUT I already have WAY too much CHriStmAs stuff the way it is. The santa is one of Terrye French's design that I added my own touch too. I made his beard out of paperclay and I think it adds dimension to the piece. I added some moss, berries, grapevine,cinnamon sticks and pine cones to the top and hanging off to the side is a star ornie. I am obsessed with CINNAMON!! I use it on everything I make, I love the smell. It was hard not to add sparklies to this piece but I wanted a more prim look. I put my SANTA egg in a enamelware cup and added some rusty bells, polymer clay candy canes and a red glitter ribbon. Added sparkles to this one.

Last year I made a few sets of these lil MICE writing a note to santa. The mouse is made from polymer clay and has a scarf tied around his neck with, what else? CINNAMON rubbed on it. The note reads>>> Dear Santa I love you I have been very good I have many sisters and brothers what I would like for Christmas is CHEESE for my family I wanted the paper to look used and like the lil guy found it, so I watered down some brown paint and washed the paper with it and I made a few cup rings and smears also. I hope everyone had a wonderful day.

New pieces and....

I was so excited to get a package in the mail I couldn't wait to open it and see what I got. The pic below is the ornament I received from the swap I joined. It is so cute and I LOVE snowmen. The artist is Kathy Lowry from http://countrychintz.blogspot.com Thank you so much. I am going to put a hook on the back so I can hang it up. I made this little snowman from an antique bottle I had. I filled it with white pearl beads, lots of glitter and handmade polymer clay candy canes. The snowman is also made from polymer clay. He is sprinkled with lots of glitter and is very pretty in the light. The pictures just do not do this piece justice.

I handpainted this wooden egg with a Terrye French(LOVE HER)design. This is just a peek of part of the whole piece. More pics of the finished piece will be posted tomm.

I also started painting this sled today. It is also Terrye French inspired. I had to stop so I could let his beard dry, it is made from paperclay. So I will hopefully work on it again tomm.

Snowmen Galore....

I think I am obsessed with snowmen! I can't stop painting them! Here are two more items with>>>>what else snowmen!! The first one is a little rusty shovel. The snowman is all tuckerd out. The handle has greenery, grapevine, white pipberries, cinnamon star and more. Then I made some snowpops out of polymer clay. Added a stick to each and put them in a rusty bucket with snow, bows, and glitter.

I am so happy to be back in the studio again. Boy did I miss it. I am trying to get some inventory for the etsy shop I want to open before Christmas. I think I am almost there. So watch for my Grand opening! ;)

O' Christmas Tree.....

O' Christmas Tree.....I managed to make it in the studio yesturday and finished some items I started a few weeks back. The wreath has lots of extras on it, pine cones, dried oranges, handmade candy canes. The tree has a prim house with a tree, flag, birdhouse, and other lil details. This tree is just a simple prim scene. There is a grapvine wreath around the top. His scarf has some rusty bells and grapevine.

These two ornies are made from polymer clay sitting on top of a bell. I added lots of glitter!!!

The pics do not do these pieces justice. I need a new program, actually I need to learn to use photoshop...lol!!!!

Hope everyone had a creative weekend. I will stay out of the studio today. I need to run some errands but hopefully will be back in there tom. It felt so good to create again and it was a great day outside.......shut the furnace off and had the window open so that helps the mood alot.

little update....

Well the past two weeks have been awful. I have been in bed most of the time.....for those of you who don't know, I have alot of physical disabilities.....my hip and back. So this has kept me from the studio because it is really hard to sit up for any length of time. I am having major "studio" withdrawels though...LOL. I am feeling better and hope I can get into the studio today for a bit. I listed my snowman sleigh first, looked pretty good. launched it and looked and HELLO I had the halloween background for my sleigh......UGH!!! So went and redid all of it. Finally finished my CaNdY DiSh I love this one. As you can see there are FoUR different cats on this piece with lots of bats, which all all different. Not one bat is the same. The lid has a spider web on it with some spiders. You can use it for anything but I thought it would be cute to hold your favorite candy. I will be listing this on e-bay tommorrow. was worth the trip.....unfortunately I did not get any pics. We were not allowed to take any in the buildings. I think it was because this was a historic village with museums, but that still does not make sense. All I know is there were signs stating no pics in buildings. I still had a great time. We live 101miles north of where the show was. The weather was chilly and it was raining on and off. It was amazing to see all the artist's work and to actually be able to pick some of them up. William Bezek and Scott Smith were dressed to impress. I finally bought the ADQ and had it signed by Scott Smith...giggle(writing in right hand corner). It was hard to get to P.K Gracia's(soft in the head)table but I patiently awaited my turn and stood there in awe for a few min.(ok like 20) After we went through all the buildings me and my hubby walked through the village which has a schoolhouse , church and some houses which are all set in the 1800's, which I love. I could not wait to get home and get in my pj pants and curl up on the couch and read my magazines. Of course I had to drive home but I TRIED to follow the speed limit but out of the corner of my eye my magazines were saying "hurry, hurry"...giggle. We made it home safe and I only made it through ADQ so far, which I know I will look through probably a dozen times. So now to wait for next year. Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.

sittin in a tree.....(wink) was busy in the studio yesturday!!! Finally got some good pics of Frank, He is all polymer clay and 5 1/2in tall. Bella the bat ornie turned out better then I expected she would. I love her. She is paperclay. I painted her then added some great purple netting I had which I think was perfect for her lil dress. She is 5in tall. I will post them on e-bay in the next few days.

I love Fall. It is my FaVoRitE time of the year. I love the smell of firewood burning and the colors on the trees. The cooler temps and eVeRytHiNg else that is Fall.

do-do...so I finished my bean pot fall painting thingy!!! I love painting on these for fall! Need to keep one for myself. I changed a few things since my WIP photo....just wasn't feelin the swing. This painting has alot of details all over(too many to mention) so take a look. I will post this on E-bay with in the next few days. If you are interested in it before E-bay just e-mail me. Well I finally found the camera and downloaded my pics......WHAT!!! wheres my Foto Finish!!! Had to re-install!!! pfft so finally here are the projects I am working on.The first pic is of a bat ornie that I am working on. He is sculpted with paperclay and is base coated with black paint so far. The above is a bean pot crock that I am painting. Alot of extras. This is of course a WIP and not nearly done. Had PLANS on posting new pics of what I have been working on. Sunday night I ended up in the E.R with my daughter Kaitlyn. She had passed a KIDNEY STONE and still had one. Was sent home and we ended up going back Monday afternoon as the other stone was moving was there for 8 HOURS. She almost had to have surgery but it passed Thank God!!! She is only 17 and I was hoping I would NOT pass this on to her. I get one every year and always have to have it removed. I told her she can't say I never gave her anything(giggle).

Clean, Sort and move

We have been so busy this weekend I didn't create anything new. Yes I have been in the studio
but I was cleaning out my storage area for a yard sale we are having at my in-laws. Two years ago my Father-in-law had a major stroke. They lived 90 min away from us. He was in the hospital for some time. The decision was made for them to buy a house near us so that we could take care of dad. So we found them a house 6 blocks away from us. Now the fun part was moving them from a 2 story farmhouse with 3 bedrooms and a huge garage and two outbuildings to a small 2 bedroom cottage. I have never seen so much stuff. So after sorting through it and storing it we are just now starting to set up the yard sale. It will take us about a week. It is just me and my honey doing all this work and it catches up with you fast. I didn't think I had so much stuff to get rid of from my studio but I brought out about 5 boxes myself. I can't wait until this is all over and things quiet down and I can concentrate on my art.

I thought I would give everyone the heads as to why I am not posting more. I am still here.

Let it sNoW....

let it sNoW....I know.. its to early to start thinking of Christmas with Halloween right around the
corner RiGhT!!!!! But I LOVE snowmen!! Here is a Wip pic of two that I made out of paperclay.

Here is a pic of the "almost" finished snowman. I painted him an antique white then I drybrushed a very light blue over the white. I covered him in a fine light blue glitter. Added his scarf from some scraps I have and made him some earmuffs, don't want his ears getting cold. The snowball in his left hand is covered with snow-texture paint. All I have to do is make him a sled to ride on and he will be done. As soon as I get the other snowman done I will post him. I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Now back to work!!

Is there such a thing? If so....then I have been cursed. Planned on going to mom and dads for dinner this afternoon but wanted to at least get my one item listed on e-bay: check! Mom called and said dinner was ready, my man was already over there working on the deck, they only live around the corner from us. So anyways I shut the computer down and figured I would finish my next item when I came home. So walking out the door to come home I notice my back tire is flat....WHAT THA.....things just keep coming at me. Well I drove it home and will let the man deal with it later. In the mean time I DID post my other item on e-bay

Frogs, Pumpkins and Bats OH MY!!!!!!

Friday started out to be a great day!! I went into the studio cold drink in hand turned the air on, sun was out I was ready to go. THEN not even 10 min. into it.....the POWER goes out. What tha...so I checked all the usual stuff, no go. Found out they were working a few streets down and power would be off. SOOOOO......got another cold drink and sat out on the deck with Kaitlyn(my daughter) and talked and played cards for about 5hrs!! I thought well this day is shot. Then we BBQ and ate dinner together and the power came back on about 6. So she went to her room and I watched some tv. When I went to bed and was thinking about the days events I thought it was a great day. I got to spend time with my daughter talking and laughing.

SOOOOOO saturday I amde it back into the studio and finally finished 2 pieces I was working on. In my last post I mentioned my man found another cast iron pot and I painted on that. I love how it turned out. I have it on ebay right now so check it out :

Finally......some ambition!

After some rough patches going on in my life this past month or so, I finally went into the studio yesturday and actually did some painting instead of just going in there....looking around and closing the door!!! I sold my cauldron with the witches on it to a friend even before it hit e-bay. Luckily for me the guy at the flea market always has 2-3 of the same item. Thats why my honey likes to shop up there, me.....not so much!!!! But anyways he bought me the last "cauldron" that he had so I am busy painting on that one and am very excited so far on how it is turning out!!! I will post pics tonight wether it is done or not just for a sneak peek so make sure you check back.
OHHHHH and before I forget....I WON.....I actually WON something. Robert from halloween fanatic had a give away and my # was picked. I was so excited. Now I am eagerly awaiting my Cruella davil picture. Need to get the mail before my daughter though so she doesn't swipe it from me....well I'm off to the studio!!

Shocking loss...

Well this past weekend has been very sad and emotionally tiring. Friday morning we received a very shocking phone call that our Uncle bob had a severe heart attack and passed away which was very suprising because he was not sick and was not on any medication and for being 74 he was very active. His wife is just beside herself. Our dad who was his brother and best friend is just heartbroken. Feb 2008 dad had a dabilitating stroke which has left him very dependent on his son(my hubby) he is paralyzed on his right side but we do what we can with him and try to keep his spirits up. Yesturday we had him and mom over for a bbq with my step-daughter and fiance who was up visiting so we had a good day!! But with all the sadness around us lately is has been hard for me to find some insperation to be creative. So I haven't posted anything new in awhile. I am hoping that things start to look better.

Nice and Quiet

The neighborhood is back to normal!! The pOlish fEstiVal was this weekend.. which isn't a bad thing exCept we live right aCross the StrEet from where they have it. Now... when we bought the hoUse we knew this. And actually its not that nOisy....but we didn't think we would have to put up with all the iGnoRent people that attend. Last year we pretty much had to stake out our own dRiveWay because people would block it or decide they could pArk there or on our lawn. So this year we parked our cars aLong the road in front of our House so nobody could park on our lawn or in the dRivewAy!!! Worked out pretTy gOOd!!! Onto a better note I finally made it back into the sTudio!! The man found me some stuff at the flEa MarKet. One of the items was a black cast iron dish....the minUte I seen it I autoMaticAlly thought of a wiTches coUldrOn so I painted some witches dancing around a couldron. I am going to list it on EbAy along with Frank!!! Hopefully I can get some better pics. It has been miserable and raining here for the past three days. So I will have to take them in the StudIo.

Today has been pretty GoOd. I fEel so much better! So I finally fInisHed my FranKensteIn that I started before I Got sIck. I PoSted 2 pIcs. He is made of PolyMer ClAY and is abOut 5in tall. I went Looking for a Charcoal Print I had started over a YeAr ago and would like to finiSh (of and angel and baby walking...reminds me of my son)and I found the very fIrst charCoal print I did when I was in CollEge. oK So I have been sick for like the last 2 weeks!!! I finally went to the DR. on weds and found out I have a pretty bad sinus infection.......I won't bore you with the details....ewWwwwwWWW!!! So yesturday I felt better good but not quite good enough for the studio....toDaY ALOT better!! But the question came up...do I clean the house( I am somewhat of a clean freak) OR do I go in the studio??? OH the irony!!! Well needless to say the house won...laundry, dusting, etc etc... Tommorrow though I will venture into the studio....OH YES I WILL!!!! I started a frankenstein sculpt with polymer clay before I got sick!!! The SEHA group is going to have a major sale on EBAY so I would like to have several pieces ready for this......I will of course post pics. And I kinda gave up on pics of my lil eCEntrIc gUy!!! I just can't seem to get good pics of him that show all the details that I would like! Ok so I am raMbLing on so I will close for now.

Ok So Today Started off pretty good!! Took the caMera and got some pics of my sculpt...Had to take them inside because it is cold and yucky outside(Michigan---gotta love it) satisfied with that I went into the studio and started scUlpTing!! Then I thought well I am going to take pics of the stUdiO so everyone can At least see where I do my work!!! Did that. Came downstairs after a few HoUrs to add my Pics to my Blog and Guess WHAT???? Deee Daa Deee da Deee!!! NO FRICKEN memory card in the camera.....OY!!!!!! So I haD to sTart over(The cable to the Camera is somewhere in the BlaCk Hole). So I took all my pics over......needless to say by then it was a bit too Dark to get any pics of my sculpt!!!!....Ohhhhh The irony. Well mayBe tomm. Because NOW I am DeTeRmined to get good pics of Him. This is the entrance to The BlAcK HoLe(my daughters room) We only go in there when NeCeSSarY......or our dishes are MisSiNg!!! ECeNtRic OlD Guy

Well The picture isnt the greatest!! Its not that sunny here today. I will get better pics of him tomm...... hopefully. SoOo when I started this guy I didn' t really have anything in mind. BuT as I continued on with him I kept thinking about when I was younger and would go TrIcK-Or-TrEaTiNg in our neighborhood. Which was out in the country so houses were few and far in BeTwEen! There was this one house wAaAaAy down the road that all the kids just kNeW was HaUnTed. No one wanted to go up to the door but with some BrIbiNg one of us always went up there. After kNoCking 4 or 5 times the door flung open and there he was........(see pic above) a older "EceNtric" GeNtlEmAn with his buCket full Of ApPles and His hair blowIn in the Wind. We never did eat thOse apples kNowing for sure they WeRe pOison.

You can't see alot of the details in the pic but he is wearing a purple velvet shirt with a black LeAthEr vest, BlAck pants and a black cape. He is wearing A PuRplE bowtie with his bone NecKlace and sKull on a Chain. His shoes are black with leather straps and SkUllS. His waLkiNg stick is just that A sTicK with a skuLl on top and bones danGliNg from it. I felt alot better today and had to kinda FoRcE myself in the studio just so I felT like MysElf again. I'm Glad I did!!! Now for A nice qUiet eVening!!! Hope all is well in your ParT of The worLd!!!

Well I haven't been able to aCcOmPliSh what I wanted too so far this week due to being a bit uNder the weatTHer. But I thought I would give a little "sneek-peek" into the sculpt I have been working on. Its a picture of his hat. I have a daughter who is my greatest inspiration and if it were not for my fiance Codys Keepsakes would not exist. The name Cody is after my son who passed in 94' of SIDS at 3months.
